The Gibraltar Petanque Association (GPA) is a small pétanque association/club in the British overseas territory of Gibraltar, with the aim of promoting the sport within the territory. The association is made up of approximately 100 members (ranging from ages 11 to 90) with its premises located at the Giralda Gardens on the city walls of Gibraltar along Smith Dorrien Avenue. Its facilities consist of four floodlit pistes

The GPA is a member of the Fédération Internationale de Pétanque et Jeu Provençal (French: International Federation of Pétanque and Provençal Game) (FIPJP) which allows Gibraltar to participate in international competitions. The association also holds their own competitions regularly. These are as follows:

Mens doubles League
Women doubles League
Mens Ranking Tournament
Women's Ranking Tournament
National Day Tournament
Presidents Cup

The Gibraltar Petanque Association are trying to play abroad like in the nearby costas areas of Spain as travelling further afield would cost a lot of money to the club.

At this moment we have only played in one tournament abroad in the nearby town of Algeciras in Spain of which we came last out of 8 teams. The tournament contested of teams around the Andalusia Province.
